HiTec Education Centre has just received full validation for new FETAC awards. The company is one of the first private colleges in the west of Ireland to offer these new awards in childcare and healthcare. It offers these through different delivery methods with classroom based, online, and blended learning options.
FETAC level 6 in early childhood care and education
HiTec Education’s FETAC level 6 early childhood care and education programme provides learners with the knowledge, skills, and competence to work as an autonomous practitioner and or take responsibility for the work of others in leading and coordinating the provision of a quality early childhood care and education environment which promote children's well-being, development, and learning.
This award is obtained by completing eight modules which have been developed to ensure that the learners are appropriately prepared for a career in childcare.
Community care FETAC level 5
The aim of this new award is to equip the learner with the knowledge, skills, and competence to work effectively in a care setting. This major award at level 5 in community care will be a requirement by law for those who wish to work in this sector in the coming years.
There are eight component modules that need to be completed to achieve the overall award.
