Five individuals in Galway made tax settlements totalling just over €920,000 in the last quarter of 2012, figures released by the Revenue this week reveal.
The five — four people and a company — were among those named in Revenue’s quarterly list of tax defaulters.
Four of the settlements made in Galway were for six-figure sums including taxes, interest, and penalties, with the highest of these totalling €350,000.
