Belfast punks for Róisín Dubh

BELFAST ALT-PUNK band Empty Lungs play upstairs in the Róisín Dubh this Tuesday at 9pm as part of a tour promoting their new EP.

The EP, Stand Up, was self-released in association with Quarantine Collective, and contains six songs which draw on the influence of punk, post-hardcore, and nineties indie, with a hint of folk and Americana.

Hot Press said Empty Lungs are “one of the best unsigned acts on the island right now”, while The Irish News described them as “a potent power trio with a rapidly expanding set of catchy yet crunchy tuneage. Empty Lungs Rock”.

The EP can be heard at http://emptylungs.bandcamp.com/album/stand-up-ep

Admission is €5.
