Local heart and stroke charity Croí will host its 28th annual gala ball in the Radisson Blu Hotel Galway, on Friday March 22.
This black tie event is well established as one of the city’s top social nights of the year. A full night’s entertainment is guaranteed, kicking off at 7pm with a pre-dinner drinks and oyster reception, followed by a banquet meal with wine and dancing to some of Ireland’s best musical talent.
Proceeds from the gala ball will support Croí’s new heart and stroke centre based in Newcastle, Galway. The unique facility, which opened its doors in 2012, has already made a huge impact on the lives of thousands of people living in the west of Ireland by providing state-of-the-art care and support for individuals and families who are affected by heart disease and stroke.
Tickets for this year’s event cost €125 and can be purchased online at www.croi.ie or by calling 091-544331. As always, there are lots of luxury giveaways, all of which have been generously sponsored by local companies. Dancing will be to the sound of top Irish soul band Soul Purpose, followed by DJ ‘til late with Today FM’s Phil Cawley. In addition, there will be a number of surprise guest appearances throughout the night.
