A Galway woman planning a charity skydive to raise funds for Barnardos will hold a fundraising bingo night in the city next week. Jade Goodfellow, who is aiming to raise at least €1,000 for the charity, is also looking for a bingo caller for the event.
The bingo night will take place in the Menlo Park Hotel on Thursday February 28 at 7pm. Ms Goodfellow is appealing for a bubbly, fun person who knows some bingo lingo, or is willing to learn some, to call the numbers on the night. The event will last for about three hours, and while no payment is available the bingo caller can enjoy finger food, refreshments, and free raffle tickets on the night.
