Man pleads guilty to dealing cannabis worth more than €13,000

A former casino worker has pleaded guilty to dealing drugs worth more than €13,000 at Galway Circuit Criminal Court this week.

At Tuesday’s sitting, Ee San Loke (43 ) with an address given as 1 Spire Mews, Shantalla Road, appeared before Judge Rory MacCabe and was arraigned for one count of being in possession of a controlled drug, to wit cannabis, for the purpose of selling or supplying which at the time had a market value of more than €13,000, at Spire Mews on June 7, 2012, contrary to Section 15(a ) of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1977.

After Loke entered a plea of guilty to the charge he was further remanded in custody to appear in court again on May 7 when sentencing for this matter, as well as others, will be completed.
