New book published by NUIG academics

Two NUIG academics, Prof Maria-Alejandra Gonzalez-Perez and Dr Liam Leonard have published a new book, examining global business, sustainability and social responsibility.

International Business, Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility, edited by Ms Gonzalez-Perez and Mr Leonard, is published by Emerald Group Publishing.

A two volume work, the first volume examines best practice in the corporate world in the areas of social ethics and community engagement; while the second looks at corporate social responsibility in policy and practice.

Prof Gonzalez-Perez is head of the Department of International Business, Universidad EAFIT Medellin, Colombia, and the holder of a PhD in economics and management from the NUIG.

Dr Leonard is a former president of the Sociology Association of Ireland. He lectures in human rights, sociology, criminology, professional development, and equality and diversity in NUIG.
