Guys and Dolls @ Town Hall

GUYS AND Dolls, the musical which has given us great songs as ‘Luck Be A Lady’ and ‘Sit Down, You’re Rockin’ The Boat’ will be performed in Galway next month.

The Patrician Musical Society will perform Guys and Dolls in the Town Hall Theatre from Tuesday March 5 to Saturday 9.

Based on Damon Runyon’s short stories on the gangsters, gamblers, and molls of New York’s underworld during the 1920s and 1930s, the musical was conceived by producers Cy Feuer and Ernest Martin in 1950.

With composer and lyricist Frank Loesser and director George S Kaufman on board, the show premiered on Broadway in 1950 and won the Tony award for Best Musical.

Tickets are available from the Town Hall on 091 - 569777 and www.tht.ie or [email protected]
