The 110th St Patrick’s Day Parade in Galway city takes place on Sunday March 17 and this year’s theme is the ‘History of Galway.’
The parade organisers are seeking applications for groups involved in community initiatives, theatre, dance, music, sport, youth, carnival, and performance, as well as bands and vintage cars owners. Applications can be downloaded from www.stpatricksfestivalgalway.com The Gathering Ireland 2013, the St Patrick’s Festival Galway is also inviting those with a surname of, or who are related to, the 14 Tribes of Galway, to come to the city for the weekend.
