Gardaí have appealed for information following an accident in Loughrea yesterday morning which has left a woman in a critical condition.
The woman was driving two children to school at around 9.30am yesterday when she lost control of her car and crashed at Bullaun. The children were unhurt in the incident.
The road at Bullaun was closed for a time yesterday morning as gardaí carried out a forensic examination of the accident scene. Witnesses are being asked to contact Loughrea Garda Station at 091 842870.
