SPRAOI, A family show about two people trying to communicate, will be performed in An Taibhdhearc this Saturday at 11am and 1pm.
The show, presented by Branar Téatar do Pháistí, starring Miquel Barceló and Jonathan Gunning, and directed by Marc MacLochlainn, is suitable for ages 3 to 6 years.
Spraoi is about two boys who arrive at the same place at the same time but do not understand what they should do, neither speak the same language or understand the others signals. One likes to play by the rules the other does not, so they must learn to communicate with each other so they can play together.
It is a bilingual production as Gaeilge and in Catalan but can be enjoyed without familiarity with either language. Tickets are €5 and booking is through An Taibhdhearc on 091 - 562024.
