The 2013 Safety Direct Galway International Rally Official Launch took place in The Clayton Hotel last Friday night and was attended by Mayor of Galway City, Terry O’Flaherty, Mayor of Galway county, Thomas Welby and president of the Ballinasloe Chamber Of Commerce, Donal Scannell.
The Garry Jennings Motorsport Team was also there to announce the launch of their new team in The Clayton Hotel on Friday February 1, where Garry’s new car will be unveiled.
Also there enjoying the night was the only surviving founder member of Galway Motor Club, Eamonn John O’Sullivan.
ACT for Meningitis which will benefit from the rally was represented by Sandra Ferguson and Denise Flanagan. The 2013 Safety Direct Galway International Rally will take place on the weekend of February 2-3 commencing with the ceremonial start in Eyre Square at 8pm.
