GIVE It A Year, the new romantic-comedy starring Bridesmaids’ Rose Byrne and One Day’s Rafe Spall will receive an advanced screening in The Eye Cinema.
The film will be officially released on February 8 but Galway audiences will have a chance of seeing it more than a week ahead of every one else.
Starting where other romantic comedies finish, I Give It A Year follows ambitious high-flyer Nat (Rose Byrne ) and struggling novelist Josh (Rafe Spall ) who are over the moon at finally getting married. However their families, friends, and their minister are not convinced they can last.
Josh’s ex-girlfriend, Chloe (Anna Faris, The Dictator ), and Nat’s handsome American client Guy (Simon Baker, The Mentalist ), could offer attractive alternatives. With their first anniversary approaching, neither wants to be the first to give up, but will they make it?
The film is written and directed by Dan Mazer, producer of The Dictator, Brüno, and Borat.
