And So I Watch You From Afar @ Róisín Dubh

ONE OF the finest bands to emerge from Northern Ireland in years, and one of the most intense and exciting live acts in the country is And So I Watch You From Afar.

Numerous times the County Antrim band have stunned and exhilarated audiences in the Róisín Dubh, and they are set to do so again when they play the venue’s Strange Brew night on Thursday January 31 at 9pm.

On the night the band will perform, as part of their set, music from their third album All Hail Bright Futures, which is due to be released on March 19 on Sargent House.

The track listing for the album is ‘Eunoia’, ‘Big Thinks Do Remarkable’, Like A Mouse’, ‘AMBULANCE’, ‘The Stay Golden’, ‘Rats on Rock’, ‘Trails’, ‘Mend and Make Safe’, Ka Ba Ta Bo Da Ka’, Things Amazing’, ‘All Hail Bright Futures’, and ‘Young Brave Minds’.

The album is set to expand on the Ulstermen’s post-rock/hevy metal mix, incorporating tropical guitar, brass, strings, flutes, handclaps, experimental cut-ups, and vocals. The album was recorded with Rocky O’Reilly at Start Together Studio in Belfast.
