THE GALWAY Dance Project is hosting a public forum regarding dance in the city, which will take place in the Druid Lane Theatre from 2pm to 5pm on Friday January 25.
The forum, entitled Making Space for Dance: A Forum for the Dance Community in Galway, will determine the professional needs of Galway’s dance community, the current issues and challenges the community face, and how these might be addressed.
This knowledge will directly inform the development of Galway Dance Project’s programme and strategy for the development of dance in the region.
The forum will include an open discussion focusing on dance in Galway facilitated by Jane Daly, arts consultant and co-director of the Irish Theatre Institute.
