Galway based drama series Deception to premiere on TV3 next week

A new original TV3 drama, based on a small housing estate in the suburbs of Galway, is to hit our screens on Monday January 7 at 10pm.

Deception is co-funded by the BAI and features an Irish cast and crew including Galway native Nora Jane Noone. The drama promises to make your Monday night viewing a little bit more exciting with plenty of jealousy, betrayal, revenge, and murder.

Throughout the series, Deception will uncover the secrets that lie behind each door of Benton Wood, a housing estate which has experienced many changes since its boom hey-day of 2007. Tensions are fraught and money is tight, and every family has a secret.

In the first episode of the series, Caitriona French (Leigh Arnold ), Galway’s most visible and glamorous socialite, gets a come-uppance when she returns from cosmetic surgery overseas to discover her house repossesed and no sign of her former rugby star turned property magnate husband Jack (Conor Mullen ). Then when a murdered man is discovered in a vacant house on one of Jack’s developments, the gardai want some answers. Meanwhile, family man Andrew (Vincent Walsh ) is caught in a compromising position, and it seems that local taxi driver, Colleen (Cora Fenton ), has a secret side-line business.
