Say farewell to Turn @ Róisín Dubh

IT MAY have taken them six years to get around to doing it but Irish indie pop-punk trio Turn are finally playing their long promised farewell tour.

Following their well received set at Electric Picnic, Ollie Cole and Turn play Strange Brew at the Róisín Dubh tonight at 9pm, as part the farewell tour the group promised after they originally called it a day in 2006.

Within a month of forming in 1999 Turn signed to Infectious Records in London, and released their debut album Antisocial to widespread acclaim. They followed up with two more top-10 albums and a string of EPs and mini-albums. Their best known songs are ‘Facedown’, ‘Summer Song’, ‘Another Year Over’, and ‘Beeswax’.

Tickets are available at www.roisindubh.net, from the Ticket Desk at OMG, Shop Street (formerly Zhivago ), and The Róisín Dubh.
