THE INDEPENDENT Galway record label Rusted Rail will host its annual Christmas Party upstairs in the Róisín Dubh on Friday December 21 from 8pm.
The label, founded and led by Galwegian Keith Wallace, has released some impressive works this year, most notably The Driftwood Manor’s Dominican Black Abbey and Songs Of Green Pheasant’s Soft Wounds.
For the Christmas Party there will be live performances from The Driftwood Manor (folk band centred around songwriter Eddie Keenan ); indie, shoegaze avant rock duo Phantom Dog Beneath The Moon; indie band At Last an Atlas; Brian Kelly, leader, singer, and songwriter with pop-punk mavericks So Cow, and ‘whisper folk’ singer-songwriter Paul O’Reilly.
Admission €5 on the door.
