Supporters of Connacht Rugby will have a final opportunity this evening (Thursday ) to discuss the province’s hopes and plans for the future.
The final in a series of Connacht Rugby Roadshows will take place at the Carlton Hotel (8pm ) and will be attended by CEO Tom Sears, members of the Professional Games Board, director of rugby Eric Elwood, head of marketing Alex Saul, and Connacht players.
Sears says this new venture is a unique opportunity to introduce supporters and businesses to its plans.
“This is the first time Connacht Rugby has been on the road and we’re looking forward to meeting our supporters.”

Connacht Rugby has struck a new sponsorship deal with Boston Scientific. Connacht will support the company’s employee reward scheme in what marketing manager Alex Saul describes as a “ a new means of collaboration between sports bodies and large corporations away from traditional sponsorship”.
“Connacht Rugby looked at a number of strategic and commercial opportunities for this non-traditional partnership which will see the focus shift towards shared expertise and experience in the pursuit of performance excellence,” Saul says.
