Go on the road with Máirtin O’Connor

THE GREAT Máirtin O’Connor, along with singer-guitarist Seamie O’Dowd, and Tradiohead will play a charity concert in Monroe’s Live next week.

The concert is to raise funds for On The Road Again which was founded by Paul Fallon. It aims to advance the self-sufficiency of homeless people and those suffering from mental health issues, by getting them involved in a structured, tailored program based, on the benefits derived from the sport of running.

The concert takes place on Friday December 7 at 8pm and the bill features singer-songwriter Orlagh de Bhaldraithe, folk-pop singer Miriam Donohue, and indie-rockers Ka-tet. The MC will be New Zealand born, Galway based, comic Danny Dowling, a winner on Come Dine With Me Ireland.
