Canadian comic for the Róisín Dubh

CANADIAN COMIC Glenn Wool is known for tackling the big issues with a preacher’s zeal but a gangsters love of the punchline.

Galway will get to enjoy his occasionally polemical but always first rate stand up when he plays the Róisín Dubh on Wednesday at 8.30pm. Expect a drop-out sensibility, a strong intellect, compelling logic, and mischievous fun. Glenn won the Time Out Award in Sydney in 2010 and was nominated for Best Headliner at the 2008 Chortle Awards.

Support is from Marcus O’Laoire and Karl Spain. Tickets are available at www.roisindubh.net, from the Ticket Desk at OMG, Shop Street (formerly Zhivago ), and The Róisín Dubh.
