A public meeting, discussing the direction of the Irish economy and the challenges in securing sustainable economic growth both locally and nationally, takes place next week.
The meeting, which is being organised by Galway Fianna Fáil, takes place in the Galway Bay Hotel in Salthill at 8.30pm next Monday. It will be addressed by economist and NUI Galway lecturer Dr Alan Ahearne and chaired by party agriculture spokesperson and Galway West TD Éamon Ó Cuív.
“Dr Ahearne is a renowned economist with considerable experience at the forefront of economic policy and development,” said Dep Ó Cuív. “He will be available at this meeting to address a wide range of issues relating to the local and national economy, and to answer any questions people may have.”
The meeting, which will be attended by Fianna Fáil Galway West representatives, is open to the public, and anyone with questions or ideas is welcome to go along.
