Everything you need to know about melanoma

The Irish Melanoma Forum will host a public information in Dublin next week at which all aspects of melanoma will be discussed.

Attendees at the event on Friday November 23 will find out about the prevention and the recognition of melanoma, how to treat advanced melanoma and experts will give their opinions on whether melanoma runs in a family.

There will be an open forum for all questions at the end of the discussions.

The events which starts at 6.45pm will be held at the Stanley Quek Hall, the Trinity Biomedical Sciences Institute, 152-160 Pearse St, Dublin 2.

The IMF (www.irishmelanomaforum.com ) was founded in 2011 at a time when it was becoming clear that major developments in the treatment of melanoma were under way. Both members and the general public can find topics relating to melanoma research, treatments and new innovations in the clinical and scientific community.
