BRAZILIAN BAND Kalanguetal will take to the stage of De Burgo’s, Saint Augustine Street, tomorrow at 8.30pm, for a charity concert in aid of a children’s charity in Peru.
Kalanguetal will headline Funky Fusion, A night of Boogie Down Music in aid of Hogar San Francisco de Asis, Peru. The concert is organised in association with Atlantic Language School, Galway. Kalanguetal will be followed by DJ Ugo from Italy who will play funk, soul, and Latin rhythms.
All funds raised on the night will go directly to the Hogar San Francisco de Asis, an NGO based in Lima. The home is for sick and destitute children from all over Peru. It provides 24 hour nursing care, cooks, laundresses, volunteers, two teachers and other personnel, providing full time care for the children.
