THIS MONTH’s North Beach Poetry Nights will have a fiction slant as the night will see the launch of a new short story anthology.
The 30 under 30 fiction anthology is from www.wordlegs.com and Doire Press and features 30 Irish writers under the age of 30, from all over the country. The launch takes place on Monday November 12 in The Crane Bar, Sea Road, at 6.30pm. The readers will be Elizabeth Reapy (wordlegs editor ) Joe Jennings, Cal Doyle, and Kerrie O’Brien.
Poets wishing to enter the Slam on the night need two three minutes poems. The prize for the winner is a bottle of wine and entry to the North Beach Grand Slam in December. Admission is free.
