In an Advertiser article in the October 11 issue entitled ‘Five months suspended for man found with heroin at NUI, Galway toilet’ it was stated that the defendant, 33-year-old Damien McElroy had an address at 30 John Coogan Park, Newcastle, as this was the address on the charge sheets.
However, it has come to the Advertiser’s attention that the defendant does not live at this address. The Galway Advertiser is happy to clarify this.
