JULIE FEENEY, the Athenry born vocalist and composer, will release her new album Clocks next month and appear in concert at the Druid Theatre.
Clocks, the follow up to the award winning 13 Songs and the critically acclaimed pages, will be released on Friday November 16 and Julie will play Druid Theatre on Monday November 19. This will be the album’s official launch show.
Ever keen to spread her musical wings, the County Galway woman has had five scenes of her work-in-progress opera BIRD performed. It is based on Oscar Wilde’s much-loved story, The Happy Prince, with score and libretto by Julie. The creative team includes director Mikel Murfi and fashion designer Joanne Hynes.
