THIN LIZZY founder Eric Bell has described The Riptide Movement as “an awesome band, Hendrix himself would be shaking in his boots!”
The band are undertaking a short tour around Ireland, including Galway, to promote their new single ‘Without You’, which is out tomorrow, and taken from their acclaimed second album Keep On Keepin’ On.
The Dublin quartet - Mal Tuohy (vocals ), Ger McGarry (bass, harmonica ), JPR Dalton (guitar ), and Gar Byrne (drums ) - play prog-folk, power pop, and hard rock and have built up a great reputation for their live shows. Hot Press called them “a thrilling live proposition that leaves crowds wondering how on earth they haven’t passed out!” while The Mirror said they deliver “fantastic live shows...with some belting rock’n’roll tunes”.
