Gardai are appealing to witnesses for the following burglaries which have occurred over the last week.
On December 1, between 1pm and 6:30pm, a house at Castlepark, Ballybane, was broken into and two gold rings, an engagement and wedding ring, two gold bracelets, and various other pieces of valuable jewellery were taken.
Overnight on November 26, a house at Dun na Coiribe, Headford Road was broken into. Four laptops and some jewellery was taken.
On November 26, a house at Ballybrit Court, Galway, was broken into when the rear window of the house was forced open. A laptop and a number of Galway Crystal items were taken from the premises.
On November 26, 5 Sylvan Avenue, Newcastle, was broken into via the back patio window. A black Compaq laptop, a black Olympus camera and a Sony camcorder were take from the house.
