Acclaimed New York singer Ari Heist @ Campbell’s

NEW YORK singer-songwriter Ari Heist is coming to Campbell’s Tavern, Cloughanover, near Headford, as part of the venue’s Americana Music & Arts Month.

Heist plays Campbell’s on Saturday November 3 and on the night he will perform songs from his forthcoming album The Fire Plays, due out on November 13 on Project 4 Records.

“The Fire Plays is an album about the thought processes that keep people from being present,” explains Ari. “We tend to fall into the trap of thinking too much about where we expect to be in our lives instead of embracing where we are. I am a black belt in such thinking.”

Heist has enjoyed critical acclaim for his music, with The Boston Globe describing him as “a prolific songwriter and a captivating live performer”; the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review said he has “vocal chops that command attention”; and Performing Songwriter magazine said: “His songs are high-calibre and deeply heartfelt.”
