“MY METHODOLOGY was to pinpoint a location on The Sky Road, travel to that point and gather material such as photographs, field recordings, colour samples, and measurements.”
So says the artist Russell Hart about his new exhibition The Sky Road, which is currently on show at the 126 Gallery, Queen Street, until Saturday November 3.
From the information collected on these field trips, Hart constructed the pieces which can be seen in the 126 gallery - a chipboard incline, a photograph, a digital graphic, a geometric collage, a vinyl record of musical compositions, and a series of mixed colour samples applied throughout the gallery space.
