MASS NORMALLY means worship in a church but tomorrow night at HALO it means a great night’s entertainments with one of country’s best covers bands.
MASS is made up of six professional musicians, that from a bedrock of weekly informal public jams, have created a first-rate ‘Party Band’. On the night you will hear every kind of music genre - disco, dance, funk, rock, and pop.
The band is fronted by singer Lisa Cannon whose voice can move from rasping blues to divaesque power. The line-up includes guitarist Donal Gunne (also of Túcan ); Peter Crann on congas and bongos; bassist Jaimie Carswell; and drummer Tony Travers.
Doors open at 11pm. Admission on Friday is €5 with women free before midnight.
