The Dail Bar in the heart of the Latin Quarter is showing its support for some of the best of the west. Not only is it continuing its sponsorship and support of Connacht Rugby with the sponsorship of Brett Wilkinson for the third year in a row, they are also flying the flag for Galway hurling as a business sponsor in a bid to show support to our home grown talent, urging the city to show our support for the fantastic talent we have in Galway and Connacht.
The Dail Bar is also getting behind the glamorous side of the West by sponsoring Galway beauty Maire Hughes in her bid to bring a bit of Galway charm to the Miss Universe Ireland competition. Maire Hughes will be entering Miss Universe Ireland as Miss Dail Bar Galway this November in Dublin . Ms Hughes won Miss Ireland earlier this year but was deemed too old at 25 to go forward to the Miss World competition. Miss Universe Ireland has no reservations about Ms Hughes’ age and judges have welcomed her entry as they know the universe could lose their heart to a Galway girl like the lovely Maire!
The team at local salon Bellissimo at the Galway retail park have also offered their support to the Galway beauty and will be providing hair and tan to get Maire competition ready.
