Samuel Beckett short plays at Galway Theatre Festival

FIVE SHORT plays by Samuel Beckett, including one translated into Gaeilge, will be staged as part of the Galway Theatre Festival.

Mouth On Fire theatre company will present Before Vanishing..., a staging of five Beckett plays, in An Taibhdhearc, on Friday October 5 at 8pm and Saturday 6 at 2pm and 8pm. The plays are Ohio Impromptu, Footfalls, That Time, Come & Go, and Teacht Is Imeacht, a translation of Come & Go as Gaeilge by Gabriel Rosenstock.

The cast features Geraldine Plunkett (Glenroe, The Clinic ), Aiden Condron, Melissa Nolan, Jennifer Laverty, and Cathal Quinn. The director is Cathal Quinn.

Mouth on Fire was set up in 2010 to perform the work of Samuel Beckett with the aim of brinigng this master of absurdist and radical theatre to the public and make his work accessible to those who might not have had a chance to experience it before.
