Local sides go half ‘n' half for charity

Local hurling club Rahoon Newcastle has joined forces with football counterparts St Michael’s to play a novel charity match on Saturday.

The two sides will compete in a game that will see the first half played in football and the second played in hurling in aid of Temple Street Children's Hospital in Dublin.

The clubs’ u-10 members till compete in this novel event.

Kick off is at 3pm at Rahoon Newcastle's Tonabrucky Pitch.
