Camogie seniors face Cork in All-Ireland semi-final

The Galway senior camogie team will hope to advance to the All-Ireland final when they take on Cork in Nowlan Park on Saturday (2.15pm ).

Galway have not annexed the All-Ireland title since 1996, and they are eager to get another shot at doing so this season after losing last year’s final to Wexford.

Cork, the current league champions, reached the penultimate stage by virtue of a win over Tipperary in the play-off. They were 1-12 to 0-10 winners over Galway in the league semi-final, but, if Galway play to their potential, they have the players to advance.

All Ireland champions Wexford face Offaly at 4.15pm in the second semi-final.
