Elves and Fairies Day at Brigit's Garden

The Fairy Queen made her way to Brigit’s Garden with her fairies and elves for a day of fairy magic and fun in the beautiful Celtic gardens last Sunday. There was storytelling, games with the Elf King, fairy dancing, and a treasure hunt, along with face-painting, kids’ disco, and crown-making.

A highlight of the afternoon was a costume celebration for all the elves and fairies in the fabulous stone circles. It was a magical day for children and their families.

The next event at Brigit’s Garden is an afternoon of pond-dipping for water bugs on this Sunday from 2.30pm to 4.30pm, a special event for Heritage Week. Children are invited to explore the wonderful world of water bugs by fishing in the lake with nets and seeing how many creatures they can catch and identify. Normal admission charges apply but there is no additional charge.

Brigit’s Garden is a not-for-profit organisation and a recognised educational and environmental charity. The family-friendly gardens are open daily from 10am to 5.30pm.
