Registration now open for BPW mentoring seminar

Supporting Women Entrepreneurs Mentoring and Business Seminar— an event being run by BPW Galway and the Chamber of Commerce, is now open for registration. The event will take place In the Salthill Hotel on September 14, from 11.00pm to 5.00pm.

This is a new initiative between the Galway Chamber of Commerce and BPW Galway (Business and Professional Women of Galway ) and is an excellent opportunity for any women interested in setting up a business or just in the early stages of development to meet with experts in their field who will provide them with good advice and get them thinking.

Michelle Murphy President of BPW Galway said “This is an excellent opening for budding female entrepreneurs to meet with the mentors on one to one basis and receive some very valuable advice.”

The event will include a key-note address from leading Irish female entrepreneur, Colette Twomey, Managing Director of Clonakilty Black Pudding.

Female business ambassadors from the UK, Sweden, Finland, and the European Commission will also attend to lead workshops and discussions on the support for female entrepreneurship across Europe.

A local entrepreneur will deliver a workshop on how to deliver your business brand. Mentoring clinics on the day will offer expert mentoring to start-up women entrepreneurs, to help them keep their new businesses going during their first, very challenging years.

It will also be an excellent networking opportunity for business women in the region.

Applications and mentor biographies are now live on Galway Chamber website: www.galwaychamber.com The deadline for applications is August 30. Places for the mentoring programme will be on a first come, first served basis. The cost for the event is €30 which includes lunch (followed by key note speaker ) and entrance into the workshops and/or mentoring sessions.
