Local businesses invited to consult with Minister on Monday

Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation Richard Bruton will be in Galway next Monday for a consultation with the local business community regarding support for the protection and creation of jobs — and Galway businesses have been invited to attend.

The Government’s approach to job creation will be outlined and views will be invited from members of the business community, which will feed into the Action Plan for Jobs 2013.

Local Fine Gael TD Brian Walsh has invited businesses in Galway to register to attend the consultation, which will be held at the Ardilaun Hotel in Taylor’s Hill next week.

“This is an excellent opportunity for companies and employers in the west to articulate their views on the future needs of Irish enterprise directly to the Minister and the Government,” said Deputy Walsh.

“Those views will help to shape and inform our strategy for job protection and creation, which remains an absolute priority of this Government.”

The consultation begins with registration at 1pm on Monday, July 16, and will also be attended by representatives of the IDA and Enterprise Ireland.

Businesses interested in attending the consultation can register for the event by visiting https://www.eventsforce. net/enterpriseireland/519/register.
