Young people who would like to spend a week doing kayaking, music production, fishing, mountain biking, street theatre, visual arts, or field sports are in for a treat.
Foróige is running a summer fundraiser from Monday July 23 to Friday July 27 to raise money for the Galway City Youth Cafe in the Fairgreen.
The fundraiser is open to all those aged 12 to 18 in Galway city and county. Those interested should go along to the café at 10am each morning and return at 4pm. The young people will have an opportunity to do kayaking, music production, fishing, mountain biking, street theatre, visual arts and field sports. All activities will be run by trained and vetted professional youth workers.
