The Galway senior camogie team will head down the road to Cusack park on Saturday for a 5pm throw-in when they face Clare as part of a double header with the Clare v Dublin All-Ireland hurling qualifier game.
Galway are on the back of two good wins over Offaly and Kilkenny in the past fortnight and will travel in good spirits. Clare have been defeated by Cork and Tipperary in their two games to date.
Galway produced a big performance last weekend when they had seven points to spare over Kilkenny in Nowlan Park.
Brenda Hanney did the damage by hitting two outstanding goals as the visitors won on a scoreline of 2-11 to 1-7. Hanney struck initially in the eighth minute, before fetching a long delivery from Orla Kilkenny to notch up her second major mid-way through the second half.
Elsewhere, Wexford also maintained their good start to the championship, and gained some measure of revenge for their defeat in the league final, by defeating Cork 0-14 to 0-9 in their second round tie.
