Appeal for local child diagnosed with cancer

The Sunni-Mae Trust, a charity to help a local girl fight a rare form of cancer, will be launched on Friday July 6 at 9.30pm in the Town Hall Theatre Bar.

Lily-Mae Morrison, the daughter of Chrysalis Dance and Youth Ballet West’s Judith Sibley and Leighton Morrison, is four years old and has been diagnosed with stage four neuroblastoma, which affects 1 in 100,000 children in Ireland. Her family faces a long battle and needs to raise significant funds to help with the fight.

At the launch of The Sunni-Mae Trust, there will be music by My Fellow Sponges, a raffle, and an auction.
