NUI GALWAY’S Huston School of Film and Digital Media will host the Cinema, Human Rights and Advocacy summer school from July 6 to 13.
The summer school’s programme was originally launched in 2006 in Venice in co-operation with the Venice International Film Festival. In 2010, supported by the Galway University Foundation, the school moved to NUIG’s Huston School and the Irish Centre for Human Rights, in co-operation with Galway Film Fleadh.
The programme attracts young filmmakers and professionals from across the world to engage in an intense week’s training where ideas and projects are shared, developed, and challenged by fellow participants and experts in film, TV, photography, and human rights.
