Madu to launch new EP in Galway

IRISH-MALAYSIAN brother and sister lead band Madu will launch their new EP at the Sean Agus Nua Ethnic Sessions this evening at 8pm in Aras na nGael.

Madu - beats controller Salim and vocalist Aminah – play an infectious combination of dub soul, reggae, and psychedelic roots driven by heavy bass rhythms and vibrant melodies. The new EP, Rocksteady, follows on from the release of their album From the Elders Yard.

Support is from Sello Moeketsi (South African jazz ), Cyclone Roots Foundation (reggae and Afro-beat ) and Jacopu (French folk music ).

Admission is €5. The Sean Agus Nua Ethnic Sessions take place each Thursday at Aras na nGael.
