IRISH CANADIAN writer Celeste Augé will launch her debut collection of short stories Fireproof & Other Stories this weekend.
Fireproof & Other Stories, published by County Galway’s Doire Press, will be launched this Saturday at 1pm in the Galway Arts Centre. The guest speaker will be Moya Roddy.
Celeste’s fiction and poetry have been published in literary journals and anthologies. Her debut collection, The Essential Guide to Flight, was published by Salmon. In 2009, her poetry was short-listed for a Hennessy Literary Award. She won the 2011 Cúirt New Writing Prize for fiction.
