GMIT TEXTILES students have been invited to exhibit their work at one of Europe’s most prestigious shows, New Designers, which takes place in London, from June 27 to 30.
Thirteen textiles students from the GMIT Cluain Mhuire campus will travel to Islington, London, next week to present a selection of products, featuring printed, woven, embroidered and mixed-media textiles. The students are all in the final year of the Bachelor of Arts (Honours ) in Design in Textiles and will graduate later this year. GMIT textiles students last exhibited in the show in 2009 and 2010.
