Galway Yoga Kids Camp provides a safe and nurturing environment where your children can strengthen their sense of confidence, focus, breath, creativity, physical awareness, and appreciation of their whole being through yoga, movement, music, and art.
This August children have the opportunity for healthy fun while learning self-calming through various exercises. The camp aims to teach children yoga through physical and artistic exploration with painting and music that is suitable and enjoyable.
By learning about how to keep in touch with their body and breath awareness, children have the opportunity to maintain their natural flexibility and vitality. Children learn the same yoga poses that adults do, but in a fun and creative way that makes them exciting and memorable.
Musical instrument making, mandala creation, games, nature walks, and learning about healthy foods is also part of the camp which run from July 30 to August 24. There are four camps in total accommodating age groups four to eight years and eight to 13 years. The venue is The Ardilaun hotel and gardens.
Each camp runs from Monday to Friday, 10am to 2pm. The cost is €75 (€70 for siblings ) and children need only bring loose clothing, morning snack, water, and a yoga mat if you have one.
