Ham Sandwich to play Halo

HALO IS best known as a nightclub but tomorrow night it will launch Upstairs @ Halo, a new venture featuring live music gigs on a Thursday and Friday night.

Kicking off the new night is the Meteor Award winning Irish indie rock band Ham Sandwich. The band have impressed with their two albums to date - Carry The Meek and White Fox - while their live shows, built around the charismatic presence of vocalists Podge McNamee and Niamh Farrell, never fail to impress.

Thursday nights will be Upstairs @ Halo live events only with no club downstairs. The Friday night will be nightclub downstairs with the live venue upstairs. Customers will be able to go between the club and gig for no separate charge.

Doors open each night at 11pm. Door charge on Fridays is €8 which allows access throughout the club and ladies go free before midnight. Thursday’s events will be charged at €5. Halo will operate both floors as existing nightclub each Saturday. Door charge is €10 before 12.30am and €12 after.
