Jes hosts Who wants to be a Thousandaire fundraiser tonight

Coláiste Iognáid is bringing the hugely popular Who wants to be a Thousandaire show to The Ardilaun hotel this evening (Thursday ) at 8pm.

Based on the hugely successful Who Wants to be a Millionaire? TV programme, this show has been attracting large audiences all over Ireland over the past 10 years and is fast becoming the most popular source of fund-raising for schools and clubs.

Contestants are drawn from ticket sales and each contestant will play for €1000. The show is fully computerised with 50/50, ask the audience, and a video-linked phone a friend. The questions and four possible answers are displayed on two 8ft x 6ft screens, one at each side of the stage.

The funds will go towards new classrooms, a sports hall. and refurbishment of existing buildings on the Sea Road site.

Tickets for the show are available from the school and at the door on the night.
