Renmore u-14 were crowned Connacht Cup winners with a 4 - 1 win over Westport United in Longford last weekend.
The Galway outfit Renmore started the game at high tempo and the early pressure was rewarded with a goal from Cian Garrett who struck home from outside the box. After 15 minutes Garrett pounced again and slotted home from close range after good work from Arron Moran. Garrett claimed his hat trick after 25 minutes, pouncing after Ryan Forde crossed from the left wing, and five minutes later Forde dribbled at speed past two defenders and slotted home under the Westport keeper for Renmore's fourth.
Westport fought back and and scored a cracker from 25 yards in what was an even second-half contest, but the Renmore back four held off any Westport threat.
